Data Collection

Mining meaningful data and converting it to knowledge.

Data mining is finding anomalies, patterns and correlations within large sets of data. Such practices can help predict new and novel outcomes. Using a broad range of techniques, we use this information to increase the yield of our systems, improve users’ experience and reduce disease in our plants. Using various data mining techniques, we keep pace with the limitless potential of big data and computing power. Having a staggering amount of data, we use algorithms to make sense of these data. We collect information such as the yield amount, season, temperature, lighting condition and more and drive correlation between yield amount and such criteria. In essence, we convert such information to knowledge.

 

 

 

 

Mobile Apps

Using an iOS and Android app, we collect various data from the system and push relevant tips to the user.

Our proprietary mobile app acts as a hinge that holds everything together. Our users use the app to ensure they have the latest tips and techniques. They learn about the newest developments in hydroponics and also contribute to a network of users. That feeling of belonging is embedded in our mobile app. Moreover, we use the app to connect to our various sensors, gather data and submit it to our backends. In essence, our mobile apps are the beating heart of our system.

 

Bluetooth Sensors

Using humidity, pH, nutrient, light, moisture and temperature sensors, we control every aspect of the growth of our vegetables.

Massive Hydroponics M10, uses six different sensors to keep the system in check at all times. These sensors inform us about the temperature, lighting condition, water pH and nutrient level, air humidity and moisture. Such information is gathered through a wide range of sensors and is all submitted to each user’s mobile app. The app would then submit all of these to our cloud network for further analysis and sense-making.

 

 

 

 

Big Data Analysis

Big data empowers our analysis throughout the entire process.

Once data is gathered and submitted to our backend, it is time for analysis. Using our advanced machine learning model, we read 100s of data points and convert them into an optimal algorithm. This algorithm confirms for us the best crop, nutrients, number of hours of lighting, etc. We ensure that our crops are best cared for and provide the maximum possible yield using such advanced methodology.
