Massive Hydroponics was created in 2019 by Atousa Jahanlou and her husband with a passion for healthy living, growing fresh produce, and minimizing the cost of organic produce. The inception of the idea resulted from her personal experience with using fresh produce at home and the overwhelming cost of such produce. Moreover, as a physician, she witnessed firsthand how many individuals and families forgo vegetables and fresh produce in daily diets due to constraints such as cost, access, culture, or freshness. To that end, Atousa and her husband began working on a functioning home hydroponics system. Two years later, we have introduced several thousand people to the concept of Hydroponics through our social media and have sold over 200 of our devices. Our mission is straightforward: continuously finding the best ways to generate better and higher yields in home vegetable and herbs plants. However, we learned that such a system would require regular informed maintenance, a task often impossible for everyday users. To address such a gap, we designed a next-generation hydroponic system. This machine is empowered by remote sensors, data analytics, machine learning, a mobile app, and cloud servers. With the support of a brilliant team of marketers, app developers, and engineers who view access to fresh vegetables as a right to every human being, we continue to explore, study and empower our customers. Together with co-founders, we continue to work on a system that enables many families to enjoy fresh and healthy produce at home.
